Online notarization allows you to meet with a commissioned notary through secure communication technology, without traveling to an office.

Bring the document to be notarized and acceptable identification. Do not sign it beforehand unless instructed to do so.

Pennsylvania Notarial Act Fees
These fees are established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The maximum fee depends on the type of notarial act performed.

The Roaming Pen Service Fees
These fees are established by The Roaming Pen LLC and are separate from Pennsylvania's notarial act fees. Your total cost depends on the service you need.
Administrative & Service Fee: $10 per appointment.
Mobile appointments may include a travel fee, determined on a case-by-case basis and disclosed before your appointment is confirmed.
Online notarization also includes The Roaming Pen's communication technology fee of $20 per notarial act, up to three acts per session. Discounts may apply for additional acts.
Notary Fees
Notary fees include the applicable Pennsylvania notarial act fee and, when applicable, a separate communication technology fee for online notarization.
How Notary Fees Work
Pennsylvania sets maximum fees for notarial acts. These are the fees for the notarial act itself, not the total cost of every service a notary may provide. The Roaming Pen's service fees are separate and reflect the time, technology, and other services involved in providing your appointment.
