Before You Visit
Requirements vary depending on the transaction. Having the right identification, documents, and proof of insurance with you can help keep your visit straightforward and avoid unnecessary delays.
Identification
Bring acceptable PennDOT identification for the transaction. Requirements may vary depending on the type of service and who is completing the transaction.
Documents
Bring the original title, forms, bills of sale,
lien documentation, or other paperwork
required for your specific transaction.
Insurance
When insurance is required, bring
current proof of insurance for the vehicle involved in the transaction.
PennDOT Fees & Service Fees
PennDOT fees are established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and may change. The Roaming Pen's agent service fees are separate and are established by The Roaming Pen LLC.
Your total cost depends on the transaction and may include applicable PennDOT fees, taxes, and The Roaming Pen's agent service fees.
Pennsylvania Sales Tax: 6% — Blair & Bedford Counties
For taxable vehicle transactions, Pennsylvania sales tax is generally 6% and is separate from applicable PennDOT fees and agent service fees.
